We combined techniques here, taking a Chikankari-style paisley and layering it over a Kantha embroidery on an ecru kora handloom cotton base. The mix of techniques gives it a luxurious feel.

There’s a looseness to the embroidery, along with small details like faux pearl beading that come through more the longer you look at it. Finished with horn buttons. Fits true to size, the model is 6'1 and wears a 30.
